Private Obedience Training and Problem Resolution

Private Obedience training is appropriate for for specific issues you are having in your relationship with your dog that would not be covered in a typical class environment or if you simply want to improve your relationship with your dog and need a more personalized training schedule.

From large to small, young to old, if they're breathing they can learn...don't let a bad behaviour sour your relationship.

Private sessions can be scheduled 7 days a week to work around your individual schedule. Ask about our prepaid package deals offering a discount on 3 or 5 hours of lessons

Board and Train - WE ARE NOT PROVIDING B&T AT THIS TIME

Sometimes lifes busy schedule makes it desireable to have your pet trained and then learn to handle it. Perhaps you have multiple pets that need to understand they must behave even when they're all together. Perhaps you have a temporary or permanent physical impediment. Recognizing that not everyone's schedule or lifestyle is amenable to attending 8 weeks of classes, we offer a variety of Board and Train programs.

Even our smallest of friends are welcome but we generally ask that puppys be 6 months of age so that they are better prepared for kenneling which can be a bit intimidating for very young puppys.

Canine Good Citizen Training

A great way to get started off on the right foot with your four legged friend the CGC class and testing is sponsered by the AKC but is open to all breeds, and mixes.

"Started in 1989, CGC is a certification program that is designed to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. The Canine Good Citizen Program is a two-part program that stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test may receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club. " (AKC website)

The Canine Good Citizen training specifically concentrates on public manners with the primary goal being to allow you to take your dog with you in public areas and have a reasonable expectation of good basic behaviours.

We are not at this time offering a group class but can help you prepare for testing on an individual basis. Testing is regularly offered in many locations.
